Tasty, amazingly tasty.
Shrimp-1/2lb (shallow fry with some turmeric pdr, chili pdr, salt)
Dried raw mango (salted)/Unnakkamanga-about 11-12 (washed and soaked in water just before start cooking)
Ginger garlic paste-2tsp
Red chili pdr-1tsp
Eastern fish masala-1tsp (optional)
Dry red chili-5
In a pressure cooker, cook the washed dal (not soaked) with 1 tomato, green chili, turmeric pdr, salt (3 whistles).
Open the cooker and add zucchini, shallow fried shrimp (fried for the firm texture), dried mango and cook (1 whistle).
In a pan heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, add dry red chili, onion, ginger garlic paste and saute.
Add turmeric pdr, red chili pdr, fish masala and give nice stir.
Pour the dal mixture to the seasoned masala, simmer for few seconds.
Check the salt and add if needed.
