For Chuttney:- Curries or chuttneysΒ  are the headache for me when it comes to dosa or idli. This is my easy chuttney recipe I experimented and it came out delicious. I had hummus in my refrigerator and I made chuttney out of it. Yes, hummus itself is kind of chuttney and I made a South Indian style chuttney with that.

Ingredients:-
Hummus-3/4cp
Water- to dilute as per you need
Oil-1tbsp
Mustard seeds-1 tbsp
Red chilli pdr-1 1/2tsp
Dry chilli-3
Tamarind paste-2tsp

Method:-
Dilute the hummus with water to required thickness.
Heat oil in a sauce pan, splutter mustard seeds, dry chilli, red chilli pdr. Make sure not to get burn.
Pour in the diluted hummus & tamarind paste.
Bring to boil and the hummus chuttney is ready………
